Our purpose is to provide essential necessities to the homeless community, and to help those still suffering from Substance Use Disorder. We personally get our boots on the ground in the highest impacted areas of the city affected by these unfortunate truths. Our Team Members and Volunteers serve selflessly as a united front with compassion, understanding, and empathy for such less fortunate individuals.
Opioids—mainly synthetic opioids (other than methadone)—are currently the main driver of drug overdose deaths. 72.9% of opioid-involved overdose deaths involve synthetic opioids.
Recently released data by the CDC show that drug overdose deaths reached a record high of 93,331 in 2020.
While these estimates are not final, this is more than 20,000 deaths above the previous high in 2019 and the largest single-year percentage increase on record since 1999
We pride ourselves in building personal, lasting relationships with those willing to take our suggestions in turn creating a new way of life with the goal of long-term sobriety.
One of our main focuses during community outreaches and building relationships with those in need is to "plant seeds". Our goal is to personally identify and relate to someone who may need services, resources, and/or treatment to address their unique situations.
Structured care planning
As a team, determining where someone may be in their personal journey through recovery, we identify and apply the best possible care planning and structure to fit their needs that have the best chance for success.
With our teams' vast knowledge and personal experience in many different areas, we are able to provide evidence-based tools for one to navigate their way through early recovery.
